cinema. ENTERTAINMENT. Trailers. Promos. ANIMATION. Film Editing.
On a weekly basis I compile, edit and shape 30 minute entertainment packages that are tailored to run before each specific current first run feature at Nitehawk Cinema in Williamsburg Brooklyn. There I also regularly do branded "Welcome" and "Our Feature Begins" as well as other specialty intros and promos. I have been there since it's opening in 2010. The style and format of these pre-feature entertainments were designed by me. Examples of the work is available on this site.
I am also currently acting as archivist for the films of the artist Richard Serra, inspecting and preserving the original 16mm films in his collection.
I am a graduate of the L. Jefferey Selznick School of Film Preservation at the George Eastman House in Rochester NY. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Texas in Austin and a Master of Fine Arts from Tyler School of Art, Temple University in Philadelphia PA.
I create, edit and animate using Final Cut, Photoshop & After Effects.
The feature film THE GRANDEUR OF DELUSIONS co-directed with Cassandra Lozano was completed in October 2016. Shot in 16mm film. Written, edited and post digital effects by me. The film is currently in consideration for 2017 film festival competitions. Clips of the feature are available on this site.
